Diversity Statement

At AMPKWA Advocacy, we believe that true justice and sustainable change are only possible when all voices are heard and valued. Our work is rooted in a commitment to equity and the recognition that diverse experiences, cultures, and perspectives are essential to building resilient communities.

We honor the traditions, histories, and leadership of Indigenous peoples and are committed to centering their voices in the advocacy we do. We also strive to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for people of all backgrounds—regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, socioeconomic status, or spiritual belief.

We know that systems of oppression are interconnected, and our advocacy reflects that. We are intentional in our partnerships, programming, and hiring practices to uplift underrepresented communities and dismantle the barriers that prevent full participation and leadership.

Diversity is not just a value at AMPKWA—it’s a responsibility. We hold ourselves accountable to listening, learning, and evolving so that our organization truly reflects and serves the people and places we stand for.

Together, we advocate. Together, we rise.
